C95400 Aluminum Bronze Alloy

C95400 aluminum bronze is a popular bronze alloy. It has high tensile and yield strength while maintaining good machinability. Plus, it resists wear and fatigue, and it doesn't deform easily under shock and load, either.

C95400 has high corrosion resistance, and you can use it in marine applications. Some manufacturers use it in shipbuilding and as government fittings. Other applications include:

  • Bronze Bearings
  • Bronze Fasteners
  • Bronze Heat exchangers
  • Bronze Pipe fittings
  • Bronze Pumps
  • Bronze Valve components

Diversified Bronze has solid and cored bronze bars in 144" lengths. Other lengths and non-standard sizes are available.

Technical details

C95400 is made up of 85% copper, 11% aluminum, and 4% iron. The best welding techniques include:

  • Brazing
  • Carbon Arc
  • Coated-metal arc
  • Gas-shielded arc
  • Soldering
